Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Ki-Jung Dejbjerg, a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark under CVR 34908370, trading as Paragate ("Paragate", "we", "us"), at Smedehalden 3, C/O Rangjung Yeshe Gomde, 8420 Knebel, Denmark. By using Paragate you accept them. If you use Paragate for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. What Paragate is
Paragate turns text you paste into cards people can swipe through, and gives you one link to share them. The link stays live: when you edit your cards, everyone with the link sees the new version. People who open your link do not need an account.
2. Your account
- You can try Paragate without an account. To share cards, you sign in with your email address or Google.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep access to your email account safe — it is the key to your Paragate account.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans and payment
Paragate has a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Team), billed monthly or yearly. What each plan includes and costs is shown on our pricing section and in your account. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout for your country.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. When you buy a plan you also accept Paddle's buyer terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and it does not renew.
- Each plan includes a number of new decks per month (or, on Free, in total). Sharing a deck for the first time uses one. Deleting a deck does not give it back. Drafts, edits to live cards and views are not counted.
- If we change the price of your plan, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
Everything you paste, upload or write — text, photos, logos — and the cards made from it are yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it, turn it into cards and show it to the people you share your link with. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept briefly in backups.
You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload, and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
5. AI-made cards
Paragate uses AI models to turn your text into cards. AI can make mistakes: it can leave things out, shorten them in a way that changes the meaning, or get something wrong. Links, phone numbers and email addresses are copied from your text by our code rather than written by the AI, but you are responsible for checking your cards before you share them, and for what they say once shared.
6. Forms and the people who answer them
On paid plans, your cards can ask questions, and the people who open your link can answer. Those answers are collected for you. For them, you are the one deciding what is collected and why, and we process the answers on your behalf. You are responsible for telling the people you ask what you do with their answers, and for having a lawful reason to collect them.
7. What you must not do
You must not use Paragate to:
- share anything illegal, including content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
- harass, threaten or deceive people, or share hateful, violent or sexual content involving minors;
- phish, spread malware, or collect people's personal data without a lawful reason;
- send spam, or impersonate someone else;
- overload, probe or get around the limits and security of the service, or use it to build a competing service.
If you break these rules, we may take your cards offline and suspend or close your account. Where we can, we tell you first and explain why. To report cards that break these rules, write to [email protected] with the link.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Paragate running and your links working, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve and change features. If we remove something you pay for, we tell you in advance and you may cancel.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Paragate and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your account deletes your cards, and the links to them stop working. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms.
10. Liability
Paragate is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, and nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using Paragate after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using it.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer law and can bring a claim where you live. Consumers in Denmark can also complain to Nævnenes Hus.
